BY ROAD:

FROM GLASGOW, EDINBURGH AND THE SOUTH take the M8 west towards Greenock. Take junction 30 over the Erskine Bridge. Take A82 towards Loch Lomond. At the Arden roundabout take 1st exit (Helensburgh) then at the next roundabout continue to follow directions for Helensburgh. On entering Helensburgh proceed down Sinclair Street until you reach the sea front. Turn right at the traffic lights and proceed along the A814 to Rhu and Rhu Marina.

FROM THE NORTH Head for Helensburgh on the north bank of the Clyde - either following the A814 from Arrochar down Loch Long side, or taking the faster A82 road from Tarbet down Loch Lomond side past Luss and then right onto the B832.

BY RAIL:

There are direct trains to Helensburgh from Glasgow Queen Street lower level – the journey takes about ¾ of an hour and the trains run every thirty minutes. There are less frequent trains to Helensburgh Upper. This line gives access to the panoramic scenery of the West Highland Line with daily return journeys to Oban, Fort William and Mallaig.

BY AIR:

Glasgow Airport is thirty minutes travelling time, whilst Prestwick Airport is approximately 1 ½ hours by car. Exit Prestwick Airport, take the right at the first roundabout and follow signs for M77. Follow the M77 until you reach the turn off for the M8. From Glasgow (and Glasgow Airport) take the M8 west until you reach the Erskine Bridge as above.
